What is Harm Reduction?
A harm reduction model is a wide range of intentional practices that centers safety at its core. We use a harm reduction model in our everyday lives, doing things such as wearing a seat belt while in a vehicle or washing your hands are practices of reduction. Harm reduction in our practice looks like having access to sterile substance use items, products for safer sex, the means to store items safety, and resources and discussions surrounding these topics. Marjorie House is a distribution site for the Thunder Bay and District Health Unit.

- Meth kits
- Sharps kits (needles)
- Period/menstruation products
- Condoms
- Lube
- Food security (when available)
- Medication lockers and Safes
