We at Marjorie House acknowledge that we are located on the land of the Robinson Superior Treaty, which is the traditional territory of Biigtigong Nishaabeg. We recognize that the long history of colonization, broken treaties, and racism have direct impacts on the safety of Indigenous peoples. We advocate for safer spaces for Indigenous women and 2-Spirited people and hope to provide space for individuals to reconnect with culture, practice ceremonies, and use medicines.

We recognize that Turtle Island is home to many diverse Indigenous peoples and that we have the opportunity to work within the community, on this land towards a just future together.
