Marjorie House is a 10-bed temporary safe shelter that provides a caring and supportive space for women and their dependent(s) who are experiencing abuse or are at risk of abuse.
The Residential Program Provides:
- 24/7 Residential Counsellor support and availability
- Confidential support counselling (both in-house and via telephone)
- Safety planning
- Crisis intervention
- Harm reduction supplies
- Life skills
- Health and wellness support
- Referrals to other agencies
- Advocacy and accompaniment
- Education surrounding domestic violence and safe relationships
- Transitional planning
- Assistance with applications (eg. Housing)
